DESCRIPTION          

Antibacterial is not usually recommended in gastroenteritis. In case of typhoid fever the choices of antibiotics is ciprofloxacin (quinolone), cefotaxime (third generation cephalosporin), or chloramphenicol. In case of Impetigo, the use of systemic flucloxacillin or erythromycin is effective or topical fusidic acid or mupirocin can be used.
