BCQ ON HYDROCORTISONE PREPARATIONS

DESCRIPTION

Fucicort is actually a combination of betamethasone and fusidic acid. Betamethasone is more potent than hydrocortisone. Betamethasone is also a corticosteroid. It is available in the form of cream for superficial skin infections such as dermatitis, eczema.

Hydrocortisone is actually a cortisol which is used medicinally. Cortisol belongs to the class of glucocorticoid is a steroidal hormone.

Fucidin H is a combination of Hydrocortisone and fusidic acid, used topically in the form of cream for inflammatory skin infections.

Daktacort is a combination of Miconazole and Hydrocortisone, Miconazole is antifungal agent used in the yeast and fungal infections of the skin, and hydrocortisone is used as an anti-inflammatory agent. It is also available in the form of a cream.

Canesten HC is a combination of Clotrimazole and Hydrocortisone. It is used topically to the sweaty and itchy areas producing inflammation.


Otosporin is a combination of three active ingredients such as Neomycin, Polymyxin B and Hydrocortisone used in the infections of ear.
