PID is usually asymptomatic and the incidence of PID is
unknown. Symptoms include:
- Lower abdominal pain (use to identify PID),
- Dyspareunia,
- Abnormal vaginal bleeding,
- Abnormal vaginal discharge,
- Dysuria,
- Nausea and vomiting (rare in acute infections).
